Dear parents, dear members,

The LFJT Parents Association (« Association des Parents d’Elèves » or « APE ») is pleased to welcome you and is wishing you all the best for the forthcoming school year at the Lycée Franco-Japonais de Tokyo (LFJT).

The APE which was created at the same time than the LFJT is your association, which purpose is to represent the interests of all the parents and students of the LFJT, without distinction of any kind.

Our team is composed of volunteers representing all the diversity of parents of the LFJT.

The APE’s role is first to represent you in all LFJT’s ruling bodies, for instance the Boards, Commissions and any task force which have authority on the daily or school life of our children. Our actions and efforts through a permanent dialog with the school management, the teachers and the French authorities, have served on many occasions to improve the learning environment for our children and fulfill their needs.

Our organization is also dedicated to fulfill parents’ needs by providing a large number of after-school activities for our children. This year 25 different activities will be available every day for kids of all ages.

We benefit from this opportunity to thank you for your attendance at the school reunion which took place on Saturday 5 September at the LFJT. A large number of you also came to meet our team last week which was registering memberships at the entrance of Fujimi, every mornings and afternoons.

Please note that our General Assembly will take place on Wednesday 16 September between 10 am and 12 pm. We have organized a facility to take care of your children if needed, which will be operational between 9.45 am and 12.45 pm.

Registration for the 25 APE after school activities will take place that same day on Wednesday 16 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. This year our activities include cultural activities to discover Japanese culture, artistic activities, academic activities and sports. We introduced some new exciting activities such as drama (theater class in English), musicals, body and vocal self-expression and press workshop. Finally, we continue our most popular activities such as classical dance, modern dance, visual arts, karate, fun with English…
